Buhoma Lodge is an intimate and charming retreat that boasts spectacular, uninterrupted views of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, the sanctuary of the rare and elusive mountain gorilla. As one of only two lodges located within the National Park, Buhoma Lodge is a short walk from the starting point for gorilla tracking and other activities in the Buhoma area.

Chalets

The ten comfortable chalets are individually designed and constructed using locally sourced materials wherever possible, ensuring comfort without compromising on sustainability. Each chalet features a private veranda with stunning views of the forest canopy.

Interior

Inside the spacious chalets, guests will find large, comfortable beds and all the amenities needed to feel at home. The well-appointed en-suite bathrooms include flush toilets, rain showers with abundant hot water, and locally produced natural bathroom amenities. Some chalets also offer bathtubs for relaxation after a day of activities.

Each chalet has insect-proof window screens, eco-friendly solar lighting, and a secure safe. The family/honeymoon chalet also includes a separate lounge room with an open fireplace and all the standard features.
